History

Quality Management System 
In the year 1997, Váhostav adopted a strategic decision to implement the system of quality management and took specific steps affecting different needs, certain goals, providing products and used processed with the aim to achieve the highest quality of supplied services. It was confirmed in the year 1998 by quality certificate according to the international standard DIN EN ISO 9001:1994.

 

Certificate was issued in accreditation scheme of Germany Deutscher Akkreditierungs Rat by the company TUV Management Service GmbH. The object of certification was „Design and construction of transportation, engineering, water management, industrial, residential and civil sites.“

 

After changing of the company name, there was confirmation of meeting requirements of quality management system according to international standard ISO 9001:2000 by the company SGS International Certification Services EESV in the year 2002. The certificate was issued in accreditation scheme of Belgium BELCERT with the object of certification: „Execution of constructions and their changes, especially transportation, engineering, water management, industrial, ecological, residential, and civil constructions.”

 

Environmental Management System  
Since the company is aware of responsibility not only towards customers in terms of quality of services and products but also environmental responsibility in connection with its pollution, the top management of the company decided to change an approach to environment in 2003. It has chosen the strategy where the priority is to prevent environmental pollution and effective way of energy usage.

The company has developed and introduced the environmental management system in accordance with ISO 14001:1996 – the system as a part of whole company management, characterized by a commitment of continuous improvement of environmental protection. The functionality of the system and compliance with requirements of standard has been approved by certificate issued by the company APA CERT Slovakia, spol. s r. o. The subject of certification was “Execution of constructions and their changes.”

 

OSHP Management System
Since the year 2005, the company has implemented and certified also the occupational safety and health protection (OSHP) management system in accordance with international standard BSi OHSAS 18001. Certificate has been issued by the company SGS Slovakia, spol. s r. o., with the object of certification “Execution of constructions and their changes.” Thanks to implemented system, the company fulfil legislative requirements as well as its voluntary commitments also in the field of occupational safety and health protection of its employees. System is focused on overall orientation of management, relations and corporate strategy in the sphere of employee´s protection.

 

Integrated Management System
Due to structural similarity as well as for the simplification of management, reduction of administrative burden and improvement in efficiency, the company, in the year 2008, integrated these three systems and theirs parts into one complex system of management, which effectively helps in rationalization of management. The subject of the certification was „Execution of constructions and their changes, especially transportation, engineering, water management, industrial, ecological, residential, and civil constructions.”

In the year 2014, the object of certification has been extended by “Reconstructions of historical and listed buildings, their reconstruction and renovation” and in the year 2015, the object of certification has been expanded by “Mining and processing of mineral resources”.
